Nano Technology Water Beading & Repellencey
This feature was added to the product to give it an added protection from spillages, this level of protection is like none seen before demonstrated below in the image take note of the beading of the salt water on top of the deck, as you can see the wood itself is not glossy, slippery or "painted" yet it achieves an Extremely low level of permeability. This gives time for cleanups.

Stops Silvering / Greying
Silvering and Greying of teak decks is caused by the natural tannin oils of the teak being absorbed and "dried" out by uv degradation. By producing a superior UV penetration protection product CleanABoat has managed to stop this Silver/Greying from occurring. Through re-application you can keep your decks from ageing rapidly in today's climates.
Stops Algae & Mould Growth
CleanATeak utilises a anti algae and mould system in its teak deck sealing product which will assist in the prevention of algae and mould growth. Also by not building a film on the surface of the teak CleanABoat Clean A Teak Seal N Protect Teak Gold allows the teak to breath and dry without trapping moisture in the deck.
Non Slip Surface
CleanATeak Seal'N'Protect is NOT a film building product, it does NOT work like a paint and therefore leaves the wood feeling exactly like wood. It is a very useful product for sailing yachts with teak decking as it is non slip. Leaving the surface of the wood the same as before the sealer was applied and giving the teak protection without making you slip over.

Ease of application is a main factor in the day to day maintenance of a Marine Vessel. So in developing our treatment system, CleanABoat.com focussed heavily on keeping the application as easy as is possible, as you can see here (see image: left) the product is spreading smoothly onto the surface of the teak and soaking in thanks to our Nano technology Impregnation system.
A Time saver!
As the Teak wood is protected with our Treatment System, you'll find the requirements for the usual part A and B cleaners will be gone. Simple maintenance is a wash with your soft boat wash broom and suds.
Re-Coating
Re-coating of our product is just as easy! Simply apply another coat of our product ever few months and keep your Deck like new! |

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Shake well before use. Use as is, do NOT dilute.
SURFACE PREPERATION: 1st time use, clean teak surfaces thoroughly using Clean A Teak Wash - 1 also Clean A Teak Brightener - 2 As Directed. Removing All Dirt, Stains, Silver, Grey, Mould, Algae. For Extremely Poor Teak Surface condition a 2nd clean using Clean a teak wash 1 is recommended.
Be sure to remove dirt, stains deep in teak grain, clean all steps, edges, corners thoroughly.
APPLICATION: To clean Dry Teak Surfaces. Using CleanATeak Applicator. Or thin foam pad. Apply 2 Wet even coats. 2nd coat after 1st coat is touch dry. (wipe sika with a dry cloth to remove excess between coats.)
APPLICATION/WEATHER/CONDITIONS: Apply clean a teak Seal-N-Protect on clear dry hot days only. (Do NOT apply on cold wet days)
DRY TIME: Touch dry 15 to 30 minutes walk on 1 to 2 hours. Total dry time Seal-N-Protect 72 Hours. (Dry time will depend on weather conditions)
MAINTENANCE/TOUCHUP/RECOATING: 1st Clean teak surface using Clean A Teak maintenance wash(mild boat wash), or Clean a Teak Wash 1 & 2. (this will depend on teak surface condition). Apply Clean A Teak Seal-N-Protect onto clean dry teak. Follow Application Directions as above.
CLEANUP: Wipe adjacent surfaces with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apply on Clear Dry Hot Days only. Apply onto clean Dry Teak Surfaces Only. Do NOT flood coat product.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS: Keep out of Reach of Children. Store in a cool Place. Wear suitable safety clothing & equipment when using this product.
Hand Protection (gloves), Eye Protection (Goggles, Glasses).
Do not eat food or drink when using this product.
FIRST AID: If Swallowed, Do Not Induce vomiting, For advice contact a poisons information centre (Phone 13 11 26 in Australia) or a Doctor. If in Eyes wash out immediately With water. If Skin or hair contact occurs, remove contaminated clothing and flush skin and hair with running water. For info Refer to MSDS.
